No this is not a scripture, but it is written in my book of life. My birthday was today. I didn't flick it up with a ton of selfies or really even share myself on social media for my special day or the days following. I am a 36 year old woman, with two children, my own business, and big plans.
Everyday is my birthday!Savvi, Age 3
Life is a Celebration
I almost didn't have a 25th birthday. There were things I said I wanted to do, like start a blog, finish my degree, become a coach, learn
Today, for my birthday got my hair done. While I was there another stylist asked ‘did I want to do something?'. I thought about it and my answer was still no. I Am Content in all ways.
Savvi has this thing where she'll wake up super excited and say ‘Yay, it's my birthday'! She'll put on a fancy dress or tutu, and declare amazing things like cupcakes or tacos for the day.
Seriously, It's a Celebration
I love it and she helped me to realize that yes, every day is a Day of Birth or Rebirth. I've adopted this attitude, especially since my Corporate America Independence day, May 3, 2018 — the BEST day ever!!
I have been living it up and celebrating myself along the way each day. Most importantly I have been working on myself.

Newness Around and Within
Each day of my life that I arise, is a day of newness and birth on some level. This 36th year, was about total reflection. I did some chakra work, drank my favorite tea, caught up on Empire ( I love Taraji ♥), and read Everyday Tarot in a state of bliss.
I received some nice gifts and balloons! The card my Dad gave me melted my heart; it was perfect. My life is good. I woke up a New Woman, I couldn't have asked for a better day.
Celebrate Yourself and Your Life
The revelation that I want to share with you is to stop waiting for _________, to celebrate yourself. Don't wait for your birthday to gather around friends or to send a message to someone. You can celebrate yourself, right now just as you are. Whatever IT is that you feel that you need before you can celebrate, don't wait.
Give gifts just because; don't wait until Christmas or another holiday. Have elaborate dinners just for fun. Stop waiting for wait for November to roll around or the next family reunion, before you break bread with loved ones. Get roses and chocolates when you want them. Show your love even if it's not Valentine's Day.
We should remember to share and be open to receiving love and gifts every single day, because you deserve it. You are worthy of celebration!
How can you celebrate yourself more?
